Adrianna Quintero

Adriana Quintero is the Director of Partner Engagement for the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and Founder & Executive Director of Voces Verdes.

 

Adrianna began her career as an attorney focusing on pesticides, toxic chemicals, safe drinking water, and clean air issues. Adrianna launched NRDC’s Latino outreach efforts in 2002, and in 2008 founded Voces Verdes, a national coalition of Latino business, health, community leaders and organizations representing millions of Latinos who advocate for action on climate change, clean energy and sustainable communities.

 

Adrianna has been committed to working with allies and underrepresented communities throughout her career, and recognizes the importance and strength of working in partnership, engaging diverse voices and broadening networks to achieve the best outcomes.

 

Adrianna is the recipient of numerous awards including the Latino Leaders Magazine Innovator Award; a Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute award; Poder Magazine’s 100 Green Leaders; Huffington Post’s 10 Leaders Who Are Reshaping The Environmental Movement; and was named one of Grist Magazines 50 People You'll Be Talking About in 2016: the innovators, organizers, and visionaries who will lead us toward a more sustainable future, in the coming year (and beyond).

 

Adrianna lives in San Francisco with her two children.
