Light Racket (will perform Saturday 16th at 12:20 pm-12:30 pm)

 

Drawing from a background in world and indie musics, Light Racket provides a rich soundscape on a variety of instruments. Violin, nyckelharpa, rhythmic glockenspiel and drums weave into the classical folk texture, while Scandinavian accents linger through the compositions. In support of the elements of our environment, and bio diversity - Light Racket extends moments of melodic symbolism and dedication to Earth, Air, Water and Fire. Before a harmonic passage is rained down in its full wet glory, their is air and breath and anticipation, and as in all music - there is fire, the expression of which is infinitely varied and unique.
