Mya Pagán is a Puerto Rican illustrator. She completed a bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages from the University of Puerto Rico specializing in French and Italian. Aside from her passion for languages she has always loved drawing and translating her perception of the world, thoughts and emotions into paper. After experiencing a "creative block" she used her Instagram account (@myashi) to ask people what they would like her to illustrate. Since then she has been interpreting or "translating" people's stories, emotions, moments shared by them through personal requests and/or collaborations. Her most recent collaboration is the current Wrigley’s Extra Gum campaign where she made illustrations for their packages and commercials.
